Resue 100 Foundation

Victoria Saddlery is accepting donations to support the 100 starving horses that were rescued by the SPCA near Edmonton, Alberta. A percentage of all March and April sales of Victoria Saddlery will be donated to this fund. All monies will go directly to rehabilitate the surviving horses.

If you would like to help, drop off your donations at either Victoria Saddlery, 2200 Keating Cross Road or at Donatello's Women's Apparel at 106-2506 Beacon Ave. in Sidney. For more information follow this link SPCA seizes starving Alberta animals or check Rescue 100 Foundation.

Bronze Licenses

NOTE: all of the Victoria-Saanich shows are Bronze level.  An EC annual Bronze License must be obtained prior to entering any Bronze (Primary) Competition.

The form can be sent to either HCBC or EC.  If it is used for an application for a Bronze license, the applicant should ignore the application for amateur status, as that isn't necessary at the Bronze level because scores from these shows are not used for national awards. But anybody who applies for a Silver or Gold license must also apply for the Amateur card, unless, of course, they ride in the Open category.

Bronze Licenses may be obtained from:
Horse Council of BC: http://www.hcbc.ca/Content/Home.asp, or from
Equine Canada: http://www.equinecanada.ca/index.php
